Ala¨ªde Costa is one of the great singers of Brazil. Owner of a fully recognizable style, deeply sensitive and emotional and less dedicated to the Brazilian swing, she is stubbornly dedicated to her ideals, choosing carefully her repertory among older and newer songs, completely freed of commercial considerations. This album brings works by F¨¢tima Guedes ("Absinto"), Paulinho da Viola ("Tudo se transformou"), Tom Jobim ("Falando de amor"), Elton Medeiros ("Contradi??o"), Garoto ("Amoroso"), Guinga ("Noturna"), and other important composers.
