Adam Mitchel Lambert (born January 29, 1982) is an American singer-songwriter and stage actor. Born in Indianapolis but raised in San Diego, Lambert had dreamed of becoming a performer after appearing in numerous amateur productions in his childhood and adolescence. In May 2009 he was a finalist at the eighth season of the reality show American Idol. He was the first famous pop artist, openly declared their homosexuality early in his career, which began with its major label in America.

Trespassing is the second studio album by Adam Lambert, originally scheduled for U.S. release on March 20, 2012. In mid-February it was re-scheduled for "May", to make room for new songs and collaborations. In late March, alongside the reveal of snippets of four album tracks, Lambert announced on Twitter that the album would be released on May 15, 2012. Lambert is the executive producer on Trespassing, as well as a principal writer.
The album is very different from its predecessor in sound. Adam himself said that his album is dedicated to change, as well as the challenges and experiences that are experienced musician. The new album is sort of a report about all the minuses Lambert and advantages of his life. The album is the most anticipated release this year.
