Very beautiful album with Babis Tsertos, a talented Greek singer, with renditions of old folk and rebetika songs from the first half of 20th century. The content of the CD is divided in 3 sections, with "arhontorebetika" songs (songs with rebetiko style composed by non-rebetes composers), genuine rebetika, and traditional songs from different areas of Greece. The style of most of the songs is scoptic and joyfull. Babis Tsertos has the "ideal" voice to revive a golden period of the greek song, from 1930 to 1960. The word "Erotopoulion" means "A place where they sell love". Enjoy rare and beautiful greek music and songs.
